As usual, the Ecole polytechnique invites Oxford alumni to take part in its annual ball at the Palais Garnier. For more information:
Cricket at Standard Athletic Club: Sun 14 May 2017 1:00 pm -7:00 pm
Come along around 1pm to meet and mix with sportifs, diplomates, économistes and fellow alumni, and, of course, to watch the cricket! It may even be a balmy day in May - who knows? .
The Standard Athletic Club vs British Embassy cricket match is an annual fixture in the beautiful grounds of the Standard Athletic Club in the forest of Meudon. This year, OUSP and CAMSOC are invited as spectators, as are the OECD and the IEA, where there are quite a few Oxbridge alumni. Members of British Embassy will be invited, so will the SAC.
There will be a late lunch (nothing too fancy – sandwiches, savouries, etc.) at the break between innings – around 3:30-4pm. Stumps drawn around 7pm.
